简述汉代察举制。

察举制是汉代选拔官吏的主要制度。其科目繁多，主要有秀才、孝廉、贤良方正、明经等。贤良方正是汉代地位最高的科目，而孝廉是汉代经常性的科目，每年选举一次。汉代察举制为“学而优则仕”提供了有效的制度保障，激发了士子学习积极性，使汉代经学教自获得空前昌盛。
