As for most urban families, housing, children’s education and medical care have currently become their heaviest burdens, accounting for a major part of their income. While China is carrying out a marketized reform in the fields of education, medical care and old-age support, an irrefutable fact is that the standard of China’s social security for the people is seriously lagging behind.
