在以太网中，为什么要限制电缆的最大长度?

由于以太网采用的是CSMA／CD介质访问控制方法，如果电缆过长，那么信号在信道上传播时衰减很多，导致无法判断是否出现了冲突，CSMA／CD就不能正常工作，为确保能检测出冲突信号，所以在以太网中要限制电缆的最大长度。  ​
