The first conference was held in Geneva from 23 March to 16 June 1964. It’s general function is to formulate, neglect and implement measures to improve the development process and help the developing countries to develop countries reducing tariff rates and providing economic assistance. It is a permanent organization of UN General Assembly. It is celebrated every 4 years.
